This cruise was a celebration of my turning 50 and my daughter turning 16. This was not our first and with our Gold status we got less rather than more. We use to have chocolate covered strawberries in our room the first night. Last year there was a bottle of champagne in our room. We use to have happy hour the last night. Now we get one drink. I spent more money on this cruise vacation because I wanted to show my daughter other places than can be reached leaving from NY as we normally do. Two of the ports I paid for we couldn't go to due to bad weather and I get that. Instead we went to the Bahamas. It wouldn't have been so bad if the food was better and if they had a greater variety of entertainment. They seemed to have had the exact same things going on every day. The dance club opened twice that I know of and the comedians just seemed totally unprepared. And every picture I took was just horrible. I wanna say that it was just this ship because the other carnival ships I've cruised on we're great all around! I've been recommending carnival since my first cruise in 2008. But now I'm considering cancelling my booking on the Vista as well as having my friend cancel hers so that we can try a different cruise line. This cruise wasn't worth all the money I spent airfare and all. Usually We don't want the cruise to end but this time we couldn't wait to get home.
