Im a long time experienced cruiser both in the Caribbean and Europe but I am making this rating based on comparative Caribbean cruise lines. This is my first MSC cruise and frankly I choose it because the price was $1000 less then the competitors.

The Pros: The ship is new and beautiful, from stylish statues and paintings throughout the ship to beautiful tile work and a fountain in the middle of the steam room. The cabins are also some of the most modern and nicely decorated I've seen in Caribbean cruise ships. They have live music throughout the lounges and public areas, i especially enjoyed the Jazz band in the Golden lounge. The shows are European Cirque de Sole style with acrobats and jugglers which were good and a refreshing change from the standard Broadway production show. The food in the main dining room was good on par with other comparable cruise lines. They have 24 hour good pizza. The wine list has some good Italian wines. Ship has a cigar lounge.

The Cons: The combinations of the low price, their kids free program, and a passenger per ship tonnage ratio which is too high (For instance Divina GT is around 139,000 with 4363 passengers while the Norwegian Epic has GT around 155,800 and only 4100 passengers.) makes for an overcrowded, waiting lines, kids screaming hell. Lines for lunch in the buffet and difficulty finding a table for more than 3 are common. Unless you wake up at 7am forget about getting a deck lounge at any of the 3 pools.

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

Modern, stylish, one of the nicest rooms sailing the Caribbean. Shower a little larger than most with a nice collapsible feature that gives you more room. Hate the standard shampoo and body wash dispenser wish they would go back to the personal individual bottles of toiletries.
