Don't let the other reviews scare you away. If you are looking for a megaship with bells and whistles, don't do this cruise. With that said, this ship has character and the crew and staff are amazing. The staff loves the ship and it shows. The evening karaoke is such a blast!! Don't miss it! You will see people over and over during the cruise and will become like an onboard family. Or you don't have too. We have cruised for many years and this is a very bright spot in our memories. Just go with the understanding that you are sailing on a piece of history so to speak. The 50 million overhaul did lots on the public spaces and some on the cabins. Would love it if the internet was a bit faster and the cabins had maybe new drawers but overall we had an amazing time and you will as well!! Btw, if you are Diamond or above be aware that there is no Diamond lounge nor a nightly event. There is a welcome aboard get together the first night and each evening 3 drinks are loaded onto your sea pass card but that is it.
