This was a family cruise to celebrate my parents' 60th wedding anniversary, so they selected the ship and the destination. It was....okay. This was the 6th cruise we've done in the last several years, and the second on RCCL. I won't go out of my way to do RCCL again; we have also sailed on both Carnival and Celebrity and had much better experiences on those. The Grandeur itself was fine- I had read several reviews about the age and was concerned but there was only minimal impact to our trip based on that.

What was good:

Our cabin (junior suite aft) was great- loved the extended balcony (room for 2 loungers, two chairs, small table, and morning yoga!) A bit sooty the first day but otherwise no issue. Because of the overhang, we were able to sit out there in the rain and not get wet, and have shade during a sunny day. Also appreciated our cabin steward working around our schedule to clean.

Very nice- lots of storage- even with three of us we did not use it all. Aft balcony awesome!
