Sail Date: Jul 2016
Cabin: Balcony

Took this cruise with my wife and 12 year old son. My in-laws were with us in their own cabin on the same floor. We have cruised on Carnival exclusively since 2005 and our second time on the Victory.

Embarkation went real smooth since we had one guest in a wheelchair we got to skip the regular line and was onboard within 30 minutes of arrival. Tried to see if our cabins were ready but doors to cabin areas were closed and a sign said rooms would be available after 1:30. Went to have lunch. Long lines and very hot and crowded but had a nice lunch and the first drink of the day.

We were in cabin 6323 on the Upper deck mid-ship It is a balcony cabin with a trundle bed for my son. Was hoping for remodeled room but no such luck here. Tube TV, tile shower with some mildew visible, some wear and tear in different areas but I didn't mind and am aware that the ship is 16 years old.
