Sail Date: Jul 2016
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Choose this cruise to experience the new RCL ship as had sailed on the Anthem last year.

The ship did not disappoint. Boarding was easy , cabin position good .Shows excellent , plenty of sun beds even on sea day.. Our one disappointment was the menu in the Grand eat there only 3 times. No shorts rule was not enforced in restaurants in the evening would recommend the Solarium bistro. Central Park was lovely a great place to relax with a drink in the evening, good bar staff in schooner bar as well.

Enjoyed all shows , Grease, Columbus, 1887 and both Aqua shows.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D4

Good size cabin not too far from lifts plenty of storage . Shower has a glass door not a curtain. Would have liked to have a kettle to have a hot drink in the morning as prefer not to have to wait for room service. Very comfortable bed.

Port Reviews

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Easy to get to Rome by train but not enough time to explore Rome or visit the colleseum best to do this on a visit out of season crowds enormous, my family spent the time in Rome on a Segway.

Naples

As we had to been to Naples before we decided to visit Herculaneum by bus and train which was avert reasonable 9euros each. To experience the visit it would be best to use a guide or the audio guides

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

We have had many holidays in the past in Majorca so only went to shop in Porto Pi which is the closest shopping centre to cruise port. Local bus just outside dock gates or take taxi
