We chose this cruise because of the itinerary, it was the only one offering Venice, Rome and Barcelona. We booked a sky suite and really enjoyed the perks of the suite class. We embarked very smoothly in Venice and took the Celebrity service from the airport. It was very well executed. The staff on board the Constellation were all very friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was kept absolutely spotless. The sofa and chair in the room were a bit worn but the bed, linens and patio furniture were excellent. Our room was on deck 6 and there was no bothersome noises coming from the hallway, other rooms or other places on the ship. We ate in Luminae almost every night. The wait staff and sommelier were outstanding and the food was excellent.

The Constellation staff worked very hard seeing to every single detail. They sent staff into town on the shuttles with signs so they were available for questions and help through out the day. When arriving back at the ship in the heat of the day, staff were standing outside offering ice cold towels and cold fruit infused waters. While sitting around the pool a waiter came around with cups of sorbet for everyone to help cool off.

We had a premium beverage package and it was great not having to think about what we were ordering. We enjoyed the martini bar before dinner and never had to wait to be served.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 1

Cabin S1

6130 is a sky suite. The cabin was spacious and included a sofa and chair. There is plenty of storage in the cabin. We had our breakfast in the cabin most mornings and were comfortable eating either in the cabin or on the balcony. The bathroom has a tub and shower with lots of storage. The cabin is close to the elevator but we never heard any sound coming from the elevators or the hallway.

Port Reviews

Venice

We took the ship's boat shuttle into Venice. Venice was very crowded around St. Mark's Square. We walked for miles, there was so much to see.

Toulon

We took the ship's boat shuttle to town and immediately saw a little sight seeing train. We took the train ride to get the lay of the land and it was a big help. We noted several areas we wanted to walk back to after the ride. There was a huge farmers market going on that we really enjoyed. There are lots of shops and restaurants right around where the shuttle lets you off.
