Choose this cruise solely based on my timetable with family events, birthdays, vacation time etc.... Had an absolute amazing time on the Norwegian Dawn. The entertainment was fantastic with a magician, dancers, singers and much more. The crew was fantastic and helpful. The food at the main dining halls that offered complimentary meals (Aqua, Venetian, O'Sheehan's, buffet) were alright, nothing great but not bad. The menus were often pretty crappy for a person not looking to expand their horizons but I always found something to eat. o'Sheehan's was a nice new feature and the wings were delicious, and all included in the price of the cruise. I heavily recommend using one of the free upgrades on the food package to anyone looking for a better dining experience. We got a 3 night package through booking the cruise and ate at La Cucina (Italian), Teppanyaki (Hibachi) and Cagney's (Steakhouse). The cruise puts the best waiters and waitresses at these restaurants and the food was many steps up from the basic places.
In terms of the cabin, I stayed in an oceanview stateroom, which was small but had everything I needed. Shower was spacious for a small bathroom, beds were comfortable enough and there was plenty of space to put clothes and everything else. No microwave or iron however.
There is a $13.50 additional service fee per person per day, just a heads up on that. Bermuda was of course beautiful, I heavily recommend Horseshoe Bay Beach. It will cost you about $100 to get there and rent chairs and umbrellas for the day but definitely worth it.
Spacious enough for a basic room.
