Sail Date: Jul 2016
Cabin: Aqua Class

This was a summer getaway cruise for my husband and me, both in our 60's. We splurged on Aqua class and had a room on the 11th floor.

Embarkation from Bayonne was a breeze. Celebrity staff were very efficient and nice.

Dining- We ate most dinners in the Aqua class restaurant, Blu. The food was delicious every night. Service was exceptional. We ate at a different table every night and wish we had had a "regular" table so we got to know our waiter. Since we are Elite class, we were able to have a nice light breakfast in the Tuscan Grille. Delicious cappuccino.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A1

Loved the balcony and the proximity to the Oceanview Cafe. The layout I a awkward with the bed in the middle of the cabin. Storage space is average. Shower was great. Bed was comfortable. The biggest problem was the cabin is adjacent to the basketball court above. This meant constant thumping of the basketball all day and most of the night. So if you are a light sleeper avoid this cabin. We called Guest Relations several times during the early morning hours (3am at one point) to ask them to have someone stop the noise. They were responsive. However, about an hour later, the basketball noise started up again. Celebrity should have specific hours for basketball play and the take the ball away so passengers can get some sleep.
