Brilliant cruise for a first time cruise! We didn't explore Palma on our first day as we was mainly on the sun deck but wish we would have. Embarking and disembarking the ship was easy every day as it was as simple as finding the gangway on deck 2. The ship overall looks very modern inside and out and is a very cosy ship to be on. The cabin we had was 3033 and this was an inside plus cabin. Very spacious, lots of wardrobe space and was always very tidy from the cabin stewards.

Dining was outstanding in every restaurant on-board. We mainly dined in Seven Seas nearly every night as service was spot on with every waiter. We got a table most of the time with Yogi and Widi as our waiters brilliant staff always talking and entertaining.

Entertainment on-board the ship was great too. Everyday there was always something to do throughout the day and at night. Through the day they had quizzes and other things going on inside and outside of the ship. At night I would recommend either Royal Fireworks Lounge or Jubilee Lounge as always something going on. Best night was the two nights the comedian Phil Doyle was on. Very funny and made everyone laugh for a long time.

Cabin Review

Cabin Inside Plus

Very good cabin, very spacious with good wardrobe space. Beds very comfortable with own heating for each cabin. Beach towels and normal towels provided clean everyday. Cruise news delivered to door every night for the next day. Bathroom not cramped good size for inside plus cabin and was clean to a good standard.

Port Reviews

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

Excellent scenery very nice to walk around especially around the harbour.

Villefranche

Good small port, had to use tender boat to shore, shops and markets all around port and good train connection to Monaco what takes 10 minutes and other way is a good train ride to Nice.

Florence (Livorno)

Cheap bus connection into Livorno town centre where there is a good amount of shops to look around. Lots of restaurants to dine in too around the town and lots of friendly people. Bus for town departs from the quayside.

Corsica (Ajaccio)

Calvi was where the ship docked. Tender boat service to shore, really nice small island with lovely beaches overlooking harbour with good small local shops and good tourist attraction for Christopher Columbus with a trail around old buildings.

Marseille

Good port to be docked at. 10 minute bus ride from quay to centre. Visited on Sunday so large amount of market stalls selling things from Fish to Homemade soaps. Good places to dine and good tourist attractions.

Barcelona

Best port to be at on the entire cruise. Around 5 minutes bus ride from quay to bottom of Las Rambles where all of the main shops are. Lots of market stalls as well outside of shops. However, lots of Lucky Lucky Men around.
