This is the only Hawaiian cruise that does not start from the west coast.
That way we won't have to add extra sea days crossing the Pacific. Unfortunately, this ship has an American crew and therefore the service is not as good as the cruise ships with a foreign crew. Service staff are not well trained and the ship tries to nickel and dime their passengers.
The dining room menu has the free items on the left side, and steak and lobsters on the right side have additional prices. The specialty restaurants where passengers have to pay to dine, the service and quality all need improvements. The main service problem is in the employee training. I ordered a bottle of white wine with dinner, which arrived well chilled, after the first round, the server put the wine in a winemaker bucket with no ice, by the time we get our second glass, the wine is now warm ! Servers never seem to know the sherbet flavor of the day....when asked, they always have to go ask the kitchen. Food usually comes out of the kitchen luk warm. The Jefferson Bistro French restaurant took the longest time in between coarses. The waitress told us there is a waiting line in the kitchen for each menu item !
Extremely small, between the end of the bed to the wall is about 20"
The shower is the size of a shower in an RV.
