This was my first ever cruise and I was so excited and overwhelmed on the first day with all the activities that were on offer...only to be terribly disappointed with the hard sell and additional cost attached to absolutely everything...even bingo!

Service staff were amazing and friendly, however found that the other (cruise director, shopping expert, fitness instructor), all full of their own importance and very poor with customer service.

Unfortunately, we had bad weather which meant our helicopter and glacier walking excursion was cancelled, and we have to wait 4-6 weeks for that refund (even though we were told it would be refunded with 24-48 hours!!). I don't see how that is fair when they could immediately take $100 security deposit from my account. Also, they didn't inform us that it had been cancelled, so by the time we realised, it was too late to book another excursion. That made for quite a long day.

Oceanview

Cabin was clean and tidy. We had a little flooding issue, but Willie our cleaner dealt with it quickly and with no fuss at all. He was extremely friendly and tried to help when he could.
