We chose this cruise because of the all inclusive setup and the variety of excursions. It was the Danube cruise from Vienna to Prague. The whole cruise was truly first class. I was amazed at how good the food was. We ended up not eating off of the ship much because the offering on board were much better. The fact that Uniworld has so many offerings for excursions and many of them are exclusive to Uniworld made for a great experience. When you went on an excursion there were no other busloads of tourists to compete with. My favorite was the concert in Vienna the first day. What a memorable experience. we shared Champaign with the musicians before the concert and a traditional layout of sausages, pretzels and beer waiting for us upon the return to the boat. Little extras that show up every day really put everything over the top. The tour of the BMW plant was spectacular. My wife especially enjoyed the trip to the Bavarian forest with a village tour in horse drawn wagons and a tour of the glass factory. The owner of the glass factory was our host. They also added a culinary tour which was new. A visit to a village butcher shop and a visit to a brewery. With samples of course. The last day they gave us a group photo of the crew and a pack of recipe cards from the chefs. First class all the way.
Beautiful cabin. A little on the small side. Cleaned two or three times a day. Very comfortable.
The BMW tour was fantastic. No pictures inside but we really got to see the assembly process from A to Z.
We did the World War 2 tour. They brought a professor on board for a lecture before the tour and it added a lot to the experience.
