We choose the Anthem because of its newness and technology, also because we can drive to the port. We live in VA and drive up the day before and stay in Allentown PA

Embarkation was a breeze very efficient process just be sure to have your paperwork complete, via online check in. We were on by 11:30 and ate in the Windjammer which was not very crowded at that time.. Stateroom was available at 1:00pm, not before.

If you are like me and research reviews in Cruise Critic let me advise you don't believe most of the negative comments/reviews. Most are from guests you could not please if you tried. This was our 11th cruise on RC and we have never had a bad experience. There will always be a glitch or issue but they can be easily resolved with kindness and patience with the staff.

Very nice cabin, plenty of storage and room. Comfortable bed. Unique separate half bath with toilet and sink. Nice shower.
