My first cruise with Royal Caribbean, I was really excited. Once booked we couldn't upgrade our room, even if we were paying. I tried several times. I was also told to check when we were checking in for late cancellations, they all said no, didn't even look. We arrived early, to see if any upgrades were available, and learned not to do that again. Lots of waiting. The room and the attendant were great. The fold out bed was not the most comfortable, but we had fun. I think my biggest disappointment was the food. Everyone talks about the food on a cruise. Most of the food was fine, when catching breakfast or lunch around the ship. But when we were dining in the dining room, I really expected so much more. The first night I had salmon dish and it was great. After that.... I tried a few things and they were okay. I had to change my order one night after I tried it. Lobster night was nothing fancy, I could by these little tails in my local restaurant for $4.99 each. I hate complaining, but I feel like they have so many other restaurants on board you can pay extra to eat at now, that is where the quality has gone. One night we paid $160.00 to eat at the Hibachi place for dinner and order some extra rolls, now that was good! One afternoon I had a club sandwich in the dining room for lunch. Seriously the worst club sandwich I have ever had anywhere. I didn't complain.

The ship is amazing and we saw some great shows.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

The cabin was good, a little tight for the price. It was worth having the balcony.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

After the cruise we rented a car and went to the Margaritaville Resort.
