This was our very first cruise. We're from Alaska so we were very warm on the cruise even though it was November. We enjoyed the Blue Iguana and Guy Fieri eateries. We did catch a comedy show and the 80's rock show and enjoyed both. We had long excursions on all 3 port days so we were often too tired to do much but eat dinner and go to bed. We tried the Italian restaurant and it was well worth the upcharge.

I originally booked a balcony but we accepted an upgrade to an Ocean Suite for $300. We took it as we were 2 adults travelling with 2 teenagers and wanted extra space. I think next time we would stick with the balcony even though the suite had more storage. Priority embarkation because we were in a suite was pretty nice.

We enjoyed all of the excursions. Our favorite was playing with the dolphins at Balmoral Island in Nassau. None of the dolphin excursions were cheap but we figured we might not get teen boys on a cruise again anytime soon. It was worth seeing our boys enjoy meeting the dolphin.

Cabin Review

Ocean Suite

Cabin OS

This was our first cruise so we had no experience with any cabin type. The dressing area of the Ocean Suite was convenient as there were four of us in the room. From what I can tell there isn't a lot more space in comparison to a balcony room other than the dressing area. A very nice room with a balcony that was big enough.
