Sail Date: Jul 2016

We chose this back to back cruise itinerary for some different ports of call. This was our 8th cruise, having previously sailed with Ocean Village, Royal Carribean, Princess and P&O. In virtually all aspects it failed to live up to our expectations. Our inside cabin was the smallest by far with inadequate storage for our clothes, no fridge and one of us had to climb over the other to get in or out of bed. The bathroom fittings were poor with a slow leak under sink and hairdryer patched up with masking tape. The toilet blocked several times.

I was disappointed with the size of the pools but particularly that there were no sunbeds around the pool offering any shade.

However our main complaint was the quality of the food. The bacon kept warm in hot water so was a grey colour and the taste was affected. Why if all the clientele are British was this not catered for. Roast beef and yorkshire puds were served with a grilled tomato and courgettes! The supposed battered haddock I was served was most definitely not, it was grey in colour. Where was the, Apple sauce with the pork or mint sauce with the lamb. The pork chops served at the bbq were like shoe leather and completely inedible. I suggest your chefs google the recipe for Keylime Pie,which is a very simple dessert to make, yet we got a bright yellow congealed blamance type tasteless offering, similarly the supposed cheesecake was on a sponge base!

Cabin Review

Cabin Inside cabin

Too small, not enough hanging or drawer space, no fridge. Could only access 1 side of double bed
