We wanted to experience the ship and its size. The ports were not a draw for us and they were ok. Disappointed with Nassau and not be able to see Atlantis since they required a tour to get into to see it. I was not aware that we could not just see the lobby of the hotel without some type of payment.
We booked the Grande Suite and were not disappointed. It was lovely and the perks that go with it were themselves Grand! Food was excellent as were the shows! All of the service people we came into contact with were personable and very accommodating. The only one little issue we had was with the elevators. There are many of them at both ends of the ship and yet they seem to only operate one to two in each bank. It made getting around very tight with everyone loading into the few that operated.
FANTASTIC! A little smaller then the Suite we stayed in on the Holland American (same caliber). The room has a couch with two chairs with coffee and end tables. The bed area can be sectioned off with a room dividing curtain that gives complete privacy if you have guests visiting. The balcony is double sized with tables chairs and lounge chairs. The bathroom is large with two sinks, a tub/shower and plenty of counter and storage space. The room had a large double mirrored closet. There was an immense amount of storage with cabinets and lots of drawers. The entrance even had a doorbell and tiled entry! We felt like royalty. We received a fresh fruit plate twice during our stay. The perks are fantastic.
