This was our 5th cruise with RCI, 4 of which have been 14 nights to the Med from Southampton.

Due to the late arrival back to Southampton of previous sailing the situation outside the terminal building was chaotic. We arrived at port gate at 1.20pm but had to wait in a holding area until 2pm as car park wasn't ready, huge queues for terminal building but as we were to check in at 1.30pm we walked straight in. Inside terminal building was very organised as usual and we checked in via priority check and were on board ship by 2.30pm. Staff had done a fantastic job getting cabins ready (considering they didn't get back into port until 11am) and cabin was ready by 3pm. Suitcases took until 9.10pm to arrive.

May be it's just me but Navigator just did not have that wow factor - I put this down to familiarity with this class of ship. She needs a good spruce up.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Adequate for our needs

Excellent position right next to the rear elevators/stairs but minimal noise, and a nice easy walk up to pool area or down to dinner.
