we choose this cruise based largely on date. we were a family of 8 ranging in age from 14 to 71. all enjoyed the cruise with a few complaints. the port schedule was off. not enough time in ketchican and not much to see in sitca . Holland America is geared for adults but a lot of kids on summer Alaskan cruise. not many activities for kids and teens. dinner was great and everyone liked buffet for breakfast and lunch. I use a mobility scooter and ship was very accessible. Disney has easy to use automatic cabin doors which is much easier to manage . cabins run smaller than Disney which was not disaster but not as comfortable. service was great and ship well maintained. would like shore excursions geared for wheelchair scooter users. the teenages much preferred Disney but did like shore excursions went on sled dog, jeep tour and ziplineing
we had 4 cabins all with verandas. nice but not great a little small
