This was our first Princess cruise which was chosen for the itinerary and price. We thought it would be a good value and chose an obstructed view ocean view cabin. The obstruction was not a problem. The cabin was quite small with an unacceptably small shower -- barely room to bathe or shampoo ones hair. The closet and storage space eas more than adequate. The location was near the theatre which must not have any noise deadening insulation as we heard all of the shows very loudly in our cabin. It was hard to get to sleep any earlier than 11:00 pm.

Check in was quick and efficient, but the wait to board was disappointingly long. Final disembarkation was organized, efficient and fast. I can't say the same about embarkation after tours. Tired and standing in the rain some days for up to 30 minutes was not an acceptable way to handle your guests.

Food, in general, was very disappointing. The main dining room evening selections were unappealing and exceedingly bland tasting. The buffet food seemed better, especially the Bavarian Buffet and the fabulous Seafood Buffet. Absolutely wonderful. We also ate in the steak house speciality restaurant. The food was terrific.
