We had a great time! We go on a cruise at least once a year. We were worried about this cruise because I read all the negative reviews, but as it turns out it's the most fun we've had on a cruise in a long time.

We were upgraded to a cabin with a balcony, and it was very nice with lots of space. The ship is beautiful! It has 3 pools and about 10 jacuzzis. The food in the buffet restaurant is very good, They have many food options; sandwiches, burgers. salads, pizza. fish, chicken, etc. There are juices and coffee that are included and available 24/7. We eat at the Black Crab for dinner every night, and we had Soleh as our waiter who was amazing! One of the nights we had lobster, and another night New York strip steak. Some of the entrees were more flavorful than others, but overall it was a good dining experience. The entertainment team is great, especially Tyrone Watkins. We played a lot of the games, and even won a bottle of champagne. Most of all, we had a great time and did a lot of bonding. The shows are spectacular! They hire extremely talented people. The bars all have live music. One of our favorite bands was Marina and the B Cats. The staff was always smiling and very friendly to us.The ports we visited were Bahamas, Puerto Rico and St. Maarten. My favorite was St. Maarten. My daughters loved Puerto Rico which is also very quaint. Old San Juan is very nice. Embarkation went smoothly, but disembarkation took a long time. However, this was out of MSC's control. It seemed as if the Port of Miami was understaffed that day.

I would go on this cruise again, and I am so glad I ignored the reviews and took a chance. I do have to say the Europeans that we met were extremely friendly, and not rude as some of the reviews say. I hope this helps!

Port Reviews

Nassau

We went to Junkanoo beach in the Bahamas. We had a lot of fun, and it's a 10 minute walk from the ship.

San Juan

In Puerto Rico, we walked around Old San Juan, and took a ferry to the Bacardi factory. Best mojito I've ever had!

St. Maarten

In St Maarten, We walked to the beach, and just hung out there all day. We rented an umbrella and two lounge chairs plus 5 beers for $20

Miami

We live in Miami, so no excursion here.
