I would give this cruise 5 anchors or the top rating despite a re-occurring problem in our cabin bathroom. The toilet would not flush about 4 out of the 7 days until it was fixed from below. We were on the Lido deck in an outside cabin and nice balcony.

For being 10 years old, the ship was mostly very clean. The staff was very friendly and always trying to help out with your questions. The dining room was opulent with top notch service. I thought the food was very good in the regular dining room so paying extra in any specialty dining venue is not necessary. The shows each night were excellent with 2 very funny comedians that week.

Of course, sightseeing along Glacier Bay was the best!. I would recommend Princess Cruises to Alaska. The casino personnel were very friendly and helpful. The slot tournaments were a lot of fun and the craps table was great each evening with double odds and a $5 minimum bet. The bars all had music mostly each night with 1 each night having a sort of happy hour with buy 1 drink and get the 2nd for $1. That alone saved a lot of money unless you buy a drink package which we did not. We loved all the excursions we went on. All in all a fantastic vacation.
