We are platinum members and choose this cruise for the dates and itinerary. Having been on vision we knew what to expect from the ship, I sailed with my partner and my 3 teenage children for a family holiday with something for everyone.

Embarkation was smooth enough although we did find that at this port we had to drag our cases a fair long way, as we had a junior suite reservation we were quickly ushered to the front of the line. There had been a mix up with the booking and our adjacent rooms were down for my partner and one son in the js with me in the ocean view with the other two children, we were told customer services would sort this. It was solved with extra keys so not a problem, it is a little disappointing that my double suite points will go to my son, but as we didn't see any benefits at all to being platinum, I don't suppose that matters. Following a very early start from the UK, we were more than happy to be checked in and getting our first drink by 11.30.

One word about the drinks packages, we are on holiday and definitely make them pay, the kids had the RR because they love the mocktails and premium coffees, we had the ultimate for the better wines and cocktails. I have to admit that the kids did get us a few premium coffees but feel this is justified because RC charge for 11 days on a 10 night cruise therefore doubling their profit on changeover days (a bit sneaky)

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

Spacious and lots of storage. Kept and maintained to a high standard. My partner said bed sagged his side but mine was fine. Very close to Centrum but internal doors meant very little noise disturbance. Would recommend.

Port Reviews

Venice

I only got a couple of hours on boarding day and missed the day we planned at the end, can't wait to try again

Corfu

Booked a private tour and had a lovely day exploring old town and small island. Very interesting architecture and history. Good shopping and value for money in both shops and cafes

Santorini

Pot luck and took boat tour to volcano and swim in hot springs which we all enjoyed. Donkeys up to fira were fun, but town very crowded, spectacular views though. Walked down the donkey trail which was fine but very hot.

Athens (Piraeus)

Long crowded bus journey both ways if you do it that way, and gave up on the lines for acropolis. Plaka very pleasant though. This was third visit to Athens and won't disembark if we go again

Mykonos

Loved it! Narrow winding streets in the town to explore while looking for bus station, easy to get lost but fascinating. Short bus ride to beautiful beach for snorkelling and water sports, our best day ever for a family holiday.

Kotor

The tour we booked fell apart due to unforeseen circumstances, but the operator offered us a free off charge day with kayaks and bicycles. We had a great time exploring this beautiful and unspoilt area. Highly recommend and will visit again.
