Embarkation was fairly smooth but bring a parka and boots! You can freeze frozen popsicles in the waiting area! We received an email that said to arrive approximately 9:00 am to board the ship. We were not allowed on until after 11:00 am and the buffet was not opened until 11:45 am so we were a little hungry by then. We were very disappointed with the adult beverage selection in the bars on the first day. We had the premium beverage package but the bars had very limited selections, many not on the premium list. Sooooo, we paid for premium, but premium was not available! Hmmmmm!

The ship was very nice. Spacious enough for 4,600+ guests without being overcrowded!. Even though there were 1,300+ kids on the ship, we had no real bad experiences. There were enough attractions to keep them busy and they made use of all of them! We tended to stay out of each others way and things worked out fine!

We attempted to spend some time around the pool, but many guests (contrary to signs in on the deck) claimed their area and placed their towels on the chairs with their books/etc. Many spent time in the pool and didn't come back to their chairs for hours! This was not a pleasurable experience! It would benefit all guests if RCL would enforce the rules they post throughout the ship!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

The cabin location was great - close to the elevator and in the middle of the ship! The cabin was very roomy and had adequate space for storage. The bed was a little hard so if you're looking for a little cushion, you will be disappointed. The cabin steward kept it clean and restocked with towels. You won't have any toiletries except bar soap and shampoo in the shower. The showers are typical for any ship of this category. Overall - very good!
