Wanted to see Alaska and the Hubbard Glacier.

Too much time at sea with very little to see from the deck. Felt like you were just filling time until you saw the glacier after 2 and a half days at sea. The food on the boat was excellent, as were all the evening shows, but this couldn't make up for the boredom experienced while the ship was at sea. If you like to be on the land during the day and cruising at night then this cruise is not for you. Cabin was very comfortable and the crew looked after us well. Drinks were expensive. The low pound didn't help I suppose.

Visited Juneau and Ketchican, as well as icy point. Not a great deal to see but some good trips from these locations, such as whale watching. Most trips were quite expensive though. This was my first ever cruise and I was disappointed.

Port Reviews

Vancouver

Lovely city with many things to do and many places to visit

Icy Strait

Not much to see or do if you didn't take an excursion.

Ketchikan

Not much to see in Ketchican, apart from Creek Street, which was very interesting, but not enough to fill the time available.
