Took this as a family cruise...we let our (grown) kids pick it out. There was 6 of us traveling...Wife and me (mid 60's) and kids (30 ish).

We are veteran cruisers...have been on Princess, Celebrity, Rccl, Norwegian, Viking, Cunard, and Carnival 20 years ago. Most recently, 4 Princess cruises. Based on my memory of 20 years ago, I was a bit leery about Carnival.

Guess what...IT WAS GREAT. What a pleasant surprise. Embarkation was a snap, cabin was very nice, and slightly larger that what we're used to. Had a balcony on deck 8. Cabin service was very good.

Balcony

Very nice...larger than expected. Plenty of room and very comfortable.
