After sailing with Uniworld on the Countess in Venice last year it was obvious we would choose none other than Uniworld again for our south France river cruise.

The SS Catherine is nothing short of breathtaking and I implore anyone reading this review to book and truly see for yourself. The design , decor , room layouts and colours are simply stunning.Every single detail has been thought about from mass storage space to gorgeous locally produced la occitane bathroom essentials. You could not wish for a better stateroom cabin if you tried. The lounge and dining room are nothing short of spectacular with food to die for and service that is unrivalled in any other 5* hotel I have ever stayed in.the chefs Uniworld choose are nothing short of genius and I have the extra 6kgs to prove it!! As with most ports we usually docked next to another ship and we could not believe the difference between our stunning grand double height mirrored reception area complete with stunning curved elevator and bespoke murano glass horse and chandelier when compared with the drab depressing clinical smelling reception of other ships such as Viking we had to walk through to disembark, my advice is book Uniworld rather than the inevitable " look what you could have had" feeling if you don't!

Truly we had the best week of our life , we have been privileged to travel a lot and experience luxury all over the world but from an all round perspective of decor, design, service, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner,drinks Uniworld are totally unmatched, thank you team for a truly wonderful trip. We have already rebooked for later this year!! Whether it's a special occasion or just for a break you won't find better....treat yourself this is one experience everyone should enjoy again and again
