we booked what we thought was a good deal for 3 families (3 staterooms) we soon learned that the good deal we thought we had wasn't so good at all.

when we originally booked our trip ncl policy was that we could carry on a case of water or other non alcoholic beverage, this policy changed about 10 days prior to our departure date and after we had paid in full. We called the cruise line and asked that due to a medical necessity would they make an exception and allow us to carry on a case of diet lipton green tea. sorry no exceptions ! But we could purchase the ultimate beverage package for an additional fee. So we did ! Which included all the soda you could consume in addition to all the alcohol you want. i don't drink not a drop, and soda is not on the list of choice beverages. so when i arrived in bermuda i had to sneak a couple bottles of water & a couple bottles of mio. In addition to the beverage package that we all had to purchase (company policy) they also tacked on another $ 80 gratuities for the bartenders and "those behind the scene" trying to get the attention of a bartender for a glass of club soda was near impossible because they already had the gratuity up front.

our second problem was with the food: mediocre at best !! The three complimentary restaurants all had the same menu and didn't change much from night to night other than a few minor substitutions, however if you wanted to order off the ala cart side of the menu for a mere $29 additional for a steak or lobster. what had we paid for in advance we wondered? the breakfast buffet was abundant however the food was served at room temperature not hot and seemed to be much of the ingredients that were left from the previous day. i had sat down on morning and was just taking my first bite of some scrambled eggs when on of the officers-managers of the dining area stopped by and asked us how was the food i said "it's cold" she without missing a beat said "ok have a good day and moved along as if she hadn't heard a word we said. We just laughed at that point but this was day 5 and we were already more than frustrated with the service in general on the ship and were just looking forward to the end !!

Cabin Review

Family Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

Cabin was your typical cruise cabin however there was peeling pain in the bathroom and our view from the balcony showed plenty of peeling paint.
