Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

July 14-23 sailing. Bermuda, St. Maarten, San Juan, Labadee.

My parents treated my family and my brothers family to this, our 3rd 'Family Cruise'. There were 18 of us this time around including my two grand babies, an 11 month old and a 10 month old. We had 8 cabins port side deck 12 all the aft.

Aside from a thunder storm just before sail away, we had amazing weather and calm flat seas the entire trip

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D5

Cabin was great, so much more storage than on other ships. The doors open OUT into the hall, which took some getting use to. Lol. My daughter, her husband and baby were in 12294 which connected with my son, wife and baby in 12296. This was very convenient since we could open the connecting door a crack and only need one of us to babysit both babies. The connecting door is in a GREAT spot. It is just inside the door to the room totally away from the bed area.

Only negative was the noise from our neighbors door. The people/kids that shared our door alcove would let their door slam.....they were with a group of people that had Cabins nearby and were in and out of the room CONSTANTLY, slam...boom boom boom as they ran down the hall...boom boom boom as they ran back...slam. I doubt this would be a problem normally.
