Arrived at the port 1 hour before our allocated slot and waited in a line of cars for about 30 minutes the cases were taken to the ship and we then went into the embarkation area where it took another 30 minutes to be given our boarding card. Our cases arrive 15 minutes after we arrived in our cabin,so it was about 1. 1/2 hours to board.

Could not fault the cabin which was on deck d with a small balcony which was ok for sitting out to have a drink or catch some sun.the ship was very clean and all the furniture and carpets were in very good condition.the service from the people who cleaned your cabin to serving you drinks or food was as good as any ship we have cruised on and a lot better in most cases.

We went for breakfast most mornings where we would have our evening meal which was the peninsular. The breakfasts were very good and the evening meals were varied and some good some not so good.eating 3 meals a day and drinking a few beers in between takes a lot of effort when you only have 1 decent meal a day at home. We watched eric and ernei in the twilight club (£22) with 3 course meal and well worth every penny. Most evenings just found somewhere to sit and relax and have chat with other passengers(lots of young familys with children)who were all well behaved. The one complaint we would have was the disembarkation and embarkation of the ship at the ports of call which were slow and not very well organized.

La Coruna

Nice place to visit with a few stalls and bars and a nice park to sit in.
