This was our fourth time on a carnival cruise. Our last one was seven years ago and a lot has changed since then. One of the things you look forward to when you cruise is the food, and the dining room food was just horrendous. To start the selections were terrible, portions were tiny, and quality was cafeteria like. I know you can ask for more than one portion, but why? The sandwich shop and pizza place were the same quality so we started going there. For dessert the first night we got a slice of cheesecake and a molten lava cake. The cheesecake was completely dry, and the lava cake was served in a tiny little dish with no clear just chocolate liquid. The entertainment was decent, comics were funny, the shows were pretty low budget but on par with what we've seen before. No problems with the rooms, got a balcony. The room was kept very clean.
