Although it has been nine years from my last Celebrity Cruise, I decided Celebrity was my best option to revisit Bermuda. Because being an Elite Captain's Club member I was given "perks" that were very beneficial to making our trip easier. One in particular was the 30 garment FREE laundry service each for me and my wife. Other perks were the usual casino credits, wine tasting, social get together, Embark and disembark perks.

Embarkation and Disembarkation was smooth and easy. Review of the Celebrity in General: Celebrity has fallen the little touches that made them a touch above the rest. These to include No towel animals each night in your stateroom. Although the food in buffet was great, there were no waiters to help carry trays for the women. And no waiters coming around to refill your drinks. Dinning room food was excellent. Although the service was great, it did lack the extra elegant touches we were accustomed to getting with Celebrity. Such as "lobster night" used to have the parade of the chefs, waiter, etc.

The Ship- Summit: Although it was clean, and well maintained, it showed it's age of being built in 2000. Being a 16 year old ship, even with recent renovations, it showed it's age in many parts of the ship. Entertainment was the usual type of cruise ship type. One Comedian they had( Last name Wilson) was fantastic and had us laughing the night away. The cruise director, except for certain shows, was non existent on board. Cabin steward, even though no towel animals, was fantastic.
