EMBARKATION: Very smooth. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We got to terminal early and we were directed upstairs for a speedy check-in and invited to enjoy snacks and beverages while waiting for the ship to be ready to be boarded. Very shortly thereafter around 11:30 we were invited to board the ship. We were greeted with champagne and mimosa's and proceeded to take a self-guided tour of the ship.
CABIN: At 12:30 an announcement was made that the cabins were ready and we proceeded to ours. The layout is very nice and the bathroom was very nice. The glass shower door was a big improvement over the shower curtain that normally sticks to you in the shower! :) The veranda was a bit oversized because we were at the end of the hump. It was a very quiet room with the exception of our next door neighbor slamming the door.
DINING: Oceanview Cafe - looked good and the food was very plentiful, but the selection at the pasta bar was poor. On Summit last year there were many different sauce choices and shrimp, chicken or beef and they were cooked to order. The layout we felt looked very nice, however, it left everyone walking around every which way as if they were in a daze. The flow did not work. The lack of trays made it difficult to get everything at once so you had to made multiple trips to get Salad, main meal and drinks. We also had to search for utensils and condiments as they were placed on one of the stations.
nice cabin, close to elevator, pool, and oceanview cafe. Slightly oversized veranda, room is last one on the hump angle aft, good view
