This was our very first cruise with Princess and we could not have made a better decision the Royal Princess is amazing. As soon as you walk on board we felt very welcome. Our cabin steward Magdellena was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The food on board was excellent with plenty of places for eating and drinking. The only gripe I have is that the drink prices were more expensive than other cruise lines. We had a balcony cabin which was very spacious with lots of cupboard space. The ship is huge which might not appeal to cruisers who prefer the smaller ships, however we never felt as though the ship was too busy. The entertainment was superb especially the Frankie Valli. Jersey boys tribute who were very good. We visited lots of interesting places from Pompeii , Santorini, and Florence. It was a very busy itinerary. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Royal Princess

Very spacious. Comfortable beds. Would have enjoyed a kettle in the room for making tea at night. Cabin Steward made us feel very welcome

Port Reviews

Cartagena (Spain)

Lovely city and very clean but please be aware of pick pockets. Especially mothers with lots of children

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Great visit to Rome. Took the hop on off tour bus which stopped at all the sites.

Athens (Piraeus)

Excellent trip to Athens. The museums are all worth a visit with plenty to see.

Santorini

This was my first visit to Santorini and was not disappointed. This was the wow factor with the typical blue roofed houses and churches

Kotor

Lovely port with friendly people.

Taormina (Messina)

Was disappointed in this stop as felt that Messina was quite dirty in places. We took the tour bus around the city

Naples

Great visit to Naples. Loved Sorrento and the Amalfi cruise. Pompeii was amazing and worth a visit.

Barcelona

What a beautiful city. Unfortunately did not manage into the unfinished goudie as fully booked. Would recommend that you book tickets before departure.

Gibraltar

Visit to the apes which was very special. Did not manage into the ww 11 tunnels would recommend to book before departure. Lovely city

Marseille

Took the hop on bus to all the sites which was conveniently placed in the city centre. Beautiful city

Genoa

Disappointed with Genoa I felt it was run down in places.
