We have cruised on Adventure of the Seas (AOS) July 16th-23rd out of San Juan. South Caribbean cruise.

This was our 3rd cruise (previous cruises: Caribbean Princess, Celebrity Equinox).

Overall an excellent cruise on all levels.

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

We have spoiled ourselves and booked a Junior Suite (stateroom 1350). Oh ! it will be difficult to go back to a regular balcony room :-) This was very nice. You get a good space with a small living area, nicely sized bathroom (with real bath tub) and a huge walk-in closet. That extra space gives you a great sense of roominess. Nice ! Be careful, you do not get all the perks of the regular suites, but the extra space alone was worth it for us. For gratuities they have charged us 13.50$/pers/day. The room was clean with very little (if any) wear and tear. Room 1350 is a connecting room. There was a family with kids in the adjoining room. We heard them on embarkation day and on the last morning. Not any other noise through the whole cruise. It is practical to be only one floor down from Windjammer and pool deck. Did not hear stomping or noises coming from above our floor (we were just below Giovanni Table). A lot of storage space ! A/C was good for us (we do not set it to low temps anyway). No smells nor issues with the toilets or shower. All fine.

Our room attendant, Grace, was very good. She was very quiet and we would not see her that much, but her work was perfect. She quickly picked up on our preferences and our ways. On one morning she had to take half the day off due to a medical issue. But when she came back in the evening she inquired with us to see if all was done correctly by her replacement.
