Sail Date: Jul 2016
Cabin: Aft-View Extended Balcony

This was our first cruise with Carnival so we weren't sure what to expect. Carnival was a blast! We have sailed on other cruise lines but we have never had as many activities as Carnival provided.

Even though Carnival Sunshine is an older ship, we found it to be very clean with larger cabins and much space to maneuver 3,000 plus people. We had never stayed in an Aft. cabin before and we loved it! It was quiet and we heard no noise of running in the hallways or banging above us. Our cabin steward was excellent and always took great care of us. We have booked another cruise for next year and we definitely requested the Aft. room on the seventh deck.

Since I'm a vegetarian, I was concerned about the food. Pleasantly surprised, I had many options to choose from. My husband and I found plenty of things to eat in the Lido cafeteria, along with JJ's Asian, and Guys Burgers. We never ate in the main dining room so I can't comment about that. For breakfast, we always ordered room service and it was always delivered on time.

Cabin Review

Aft-View Extended Balcony

Cabin 8N

We loved this cabin! The room was very spacious and the balcony was huge. As a matter of fact, it was a little large for the two of us. If you have several people in your party, this balcony would be a meeting place. We had plenty of storage space, a refrigerator, shower only, toilet, and plenty of space in the bathroom for toiletries. If you like the back of the ship, this is the best!!
