We booked this cruise as a last minute cruise paying only 349.00pp for a guaranteed stateroom for a 7 night cruise. We clearly understood that this ship was an Italian ship trying to make their way into the American market. Our embarkation in Miami was very efficient and simple as was the disembarkation. We boarded the ship around 3:30pm for a 7pm departure. Our room was ready when we boarded the ship and found the room to be on the small side but typical on a cruise ship. We then participated in the safety drill. The drill is very disorganized not to mention the fact that we had to wear the life jackets during the drill. The rooms that we had to report to were very small and the staff did not do a good job funneling the guests towards the back of the room so it created a very awkward situation where people had to maneuver around each other with their life jackets around their necks etc...

The ship is absolutely stunning. They have great public spaces, the ship was clean, and the shows were excellent. We participated in many of the activities hosted by the entertainment team such as trivia and games during the day and we attended all of the shows in the evening.

We had the early seating 6pm in the Black Crab dining room. We found the the room to be very nice. Our service staff was excellent. They worked very hard to make sure we received our food timely. Our dining time for a 4 course meal was approximately an hour and half which was normal. We sat at a table for 8 and it was very nice to meet and chat with other guests on the ship during dinner.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin O1

The cabin was one of the smallest that we have experienced. We have cruised with Carnival and Norwegian and we typically prefer inside stateroom. The MSC Divina Ocean view with a large port hole was quite small. Prior to our cruise we looked at the room description and picture and they mention that they have a couch in the room. That is not true. Even the Stateroom steward mentioned that our room did not look like the pictures on the web!

San Juan

We toured Old San Juan by ourselves. We were able to to walk and see much of Old San Juan!

Miami

We took a shuttle from FLL airport to the Port of Miami!
