My husband and i wanted to do something special for our anniversary ( 10th ) and we saw many commercials and it just looked to good to pass up. Well, I'm certainly glad we did not pass this opportunity up as it was bar none the best trip we have ever taken and my husband and i have been many places. This being my first trip overseas to Europe it could not of gone any better. From the moment we stepped on the Viking Longship Kvasir we were treated like royalty. They guided us to our room, we were greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine and an absolute beauty of a room. It was clean, very comfortable and for a cruise ship it was exceptionally roomy. The bed was oh so comfortable, the shower had great pressure and the water temperature was never a problem. We enjoyed every night sitting on our balcony as we sailed down the river Rhine with the most beautiful views.

I cannot express enough how helpful the kitchen staff with the head chef, the cooks, the waiters and waitresses and especially the Matre De Paul were to accommodate my special diet since i have Celiac. They prepared many scrumptious and beautiful prepared meals and i did not feel like i was cheated out of any special meal my fellow passengers had. The food is absolutely to die for....every night was a great experience in food of the country we were visiting. Lets just say, i did not go hungry.

The tours that were both included and extra were well organized, well planned and very informative and were always done just in time to enjoy a drink on the ship before lunch.
