Had a great cruise. Good service and meals very good too. Ate at raffles buffet for breakfast and lunch and Windows dining room in the evenings. Ate at shoguns asian restaurant too. Ports were great. Did our own thing in all ports except naples, rome and Livorno where we booked Tours with Joe banana limo Tours. Favourite tour was of Amalfi coast. In rome we did a tour of the city and in Livorno went to Pisa and Florence. In Athens we took a taxi which took us on a tour of Athens for 100 euros for 5 hrs . In Kotor we did the hop on hop off bus and walked around the old town. In Dubrovnik we walked in the old town and did the cable car. In Mykonos we walked around the town and took a bus to a nice beach. In Toulon we walked to the markets and had a swim. Shows were good too. Favourites were the group Four-ever, the acrobats and the elements show. Service was very good and friendly staff. Favourite bar was champagne Charlies . Travelled as a family group of ten and the cruise was perfect for us. Had the ultimate beverage package which was great and on the whole have nothing negativa to say about our cruise with NCL. Stayed a few days pre and post cruise at Olimpia hotel in Venice and Avenida Palace in Barcelona which I can also Recommend. These cities are easy to see on your own. Can walk to st marks from the hotel. Take a gondola Ride for 80 euros ( set price). In Barcelona the hop on hop off bus is good for gettting around the city. Don't miss the sagrada familia ( book first) and tapas ( try ciudad condal).
This cabin was huge. Great for a family of four. We had plenty of room for four and bathroom was larger in this room too. Bonus too that it was close to the lifts and stairs. No problem with noise.
Just walked around the town and markets. Not much to do here but didnt want a tour after three busy days in Italy. Nice souveniers in the port terminal and good cheap coffee.
Tender port. Walked around the town then took a bus to plaka Gialos for lunch and a swim. Got free sunbeds after we got a tip from a waitress in town at a café to go to the restaurant she used to work at and eat lunch there and they let us use sun beds for free. Lovely beach. Buses go from behind the three windmills in town.
Planned on taking a taxi to the Akropolis but ended up touring the whole of Athens with him. Great tour. Charged us 20 euros per hour ( we did 5 hrs) and we saw so much. Acropolis, changing of the guard, temple of zeus, olympic stadium, plaka etc.
Another beautiful city. Took the shuttle bus to the old town (15 euros adults, 10 euros kids). Walk around old town. Took the cable car for spectacular views of the city. Too hot to walk the walls.
Beautiful city. Don't miss the sail in, very scenic. We took the hop on hop off bus to tour around. Tender here.
Easy to walk to St Marks from the hotel. Take peoplemover to the port from pl. Roma square. A gondola ride costs 80 euros for 5 people for about 30 mins.
