Viking was running a special price including air fare from Orlando. This was on our bucket list of things to do so the timing was right. It was our first river cruise and exceeded all of our expectations. Our program director Diana was phenomenal and the rest of the staff was right up there with her. The food was excellent, entertainment was fun and the ports were very interesting. We didn't do any of the optional tours, but didn't feel like we missed out on anything because the included tours were great. We had a French balcony cabin which was a little tight compared to ocean cruising, but it was set up well and we loved the heated bathroom tiles. I also loved that a coat and tie were not required. We went not knowing anyone on the cruise and came back with many new friends. Would we do it again? Yes, but we would have to wait for another special price to come along.

French Balcony

Cabin D

A little tight when compared to some of the ocean cruises we have been on, but very clean and set up very well. Our cabin steward was fantastic. We liked the closets and heated floor in the bathroom. Plenty of 110 volt outlets.
