Overall this was a decent cruise. I have cruised Carnival before and was happy with the fun, so I decided to go again. The cruise itself was nice, the service great, and the food was great. I was truly impressed with the large size of our room, especially for an internal room with no porthole. The bathroom was huge and there was decent room for two without feeling like we were in a closet. I would never pay more just to get a better room cause this one was great, we were only one floor from most of the action, and we were up fairly early so we could see shore, or ocean from out on the deck instead of our room.

The main downside of this cruise and the reason for my "3" rating, was the temperature on the boat. It was FREEZING, night and day. We had to go out on the deck to get a little warm air. It was so cold (and I wore a sweater over my outfit each day) that we couldn't enjoy spending time on the boat. We couldn't understand why they couldn't find a way to regulate the temperature to something that would be fairly comfortable for most people. Everyone was complaining about the cold. Many wanted to sport their outfits, but it was so cold, they had to put on sweaters or jackets just to roam the boat.

The entertainment on a whole was disappointing as well. There were one of two acts that were nice but the rest was disappointing. I remembered in the past them having better shows, but that wasn't the case this time. My group spent most of the time on the ship playing cards, as there wasn't enough action other than food to keep us occupied.

Cabin was excellent. We were on the Rivera deck I believe and I'm not truly sure of the room number, as this was almost a year ago. I believe my ship was the Fantasy, but might have the Fascination. Whichever one goes to Bahamas.
