We had taken two previous Viking cruises and knew the quality would be wonderful. Also loved the opportunity to meet other guests which is impossible on the ocean cruises. It is a joy to be part of a ship's cruise that you are able to meet, tour and have meals with folks that you get to know. We loved Russia. We loved the tours, the tour guides were wonderful. The Russian food on the menu was wonderful, the staff is fabulous. All the food was terrific.

The only down side for us was a guest (80 yr old man and his wife) who could not stop talking, loudly during the bus rides while the tour guide was speaking. Several folks asked him to stop, but he just did it anyway. Extremely rude. And interfered with the atmosphere aboard the buses. Unfortunately we were assigned a bus for all the tours and he was with us always. And I'm 75. By this age one should know better how to behave. If I start doing this at 80, please stop me!!

But Viking is extraordinary. We loved it. Thank you!!
