We had taken a Rhine River Cruise 2 years ago and were very pleased with the experience. We decided to take a Danube River Cruise to celebrate our 40th anniversary. All members of the crew were professional, friendly and efficient. We met many interesting folks from all over the USA, Canada and some from Europe. The staterooms are very clean and comfortable. The chef and staff are expert in making meals that are appetizing and delicious. There is something to please everyone's taste. We do not like crowded ships. Viking ships are just right for a more intimate setting. The cruise director makes a strong effort to provide entertainment that is inclusive for all, whether a game night, musical or cultural presentation, along with food representative of the area, such as the Taste of Germany event. We have been very pleased with both of our cruises with Viking. The itineraries, the accommodations and the staff meet all of our expectations.
