I kept seeing the Commercials on PBS, so enticing and let me tell you it lived up to and beyond what I had even imagined! The Service was FANTASTIC! Marius and Aron were truly the BEST! Executive Chef Richard Vallis & staff Amazed us at every meal. Starting with a Fabulous choice of Les Hors D'Oeuvres to Les Plats Principaux (Main Course) and many Delightful choice of Desserts. The Lunch Menu was Great. You had choice on a menu and a Delicious Salad Bar/Buffet. The wine was always flowing you NEVER had to ask for a fill, it was quickly taken to notice and done.

The Excursions were Great! So many Fantastic Sites to see and things to do. Definitely do the Louve and Palace of Versilles (cost extra but worth it)! Normandy (American Memorial) is an emotional place to go. On the last day you had an option to do a 3 hr. Paris (on your own) so glad we did, we walked to the Eiffel Tower and climbed it. Rouen (Joan of Arc town) was also one of my favorite sites,so much history, so glad I had a lovely guide, the shopping was fun too. ALL restaurants that were part of certain excursions they took us to were Fabulous! My friend and I met so many wonderful people/couples and made lasting friendships. Who would think I'd be a bridesmaid on the Viking Rolf's "first-ever" wedding of cruise-friends Al & Kelley by Captain Dario Webber, it was such a Special evening!

The entertainment was Average, many of us wished and asked for more dancing music and it just wasn't delivered. On walking excursions: I took notice that a few senior passengers that had difficulty walking ie:Givenchy Gardens were well attended to by our Program Director Michael Bright. It was Delightful to receive such detailed treats, from the Chocolate Bunny in our stateroom upon arrival on Easter Sunday to the arrival onto the ship greeted by staff with delicious warm broth handed to us after a cold day visiting sites. I loved our "Paris" themed-luncheon: Coming up the ships ramp hearing LIVE accordion music, ALL Staff dressed with a French Beret, handing us champagne as we entered, they made this day Superb!

Cabin Economy

Stateroom Economy: bottom level

It was perfect, close to the steps of center floor of Dining Room. No need to get the room with a view when you're so busy Site-Seeing and socializing.

Port Reviews

Paris

Arrived from airport after lunch time. The Staff had something made for us since we were so very hungry.
