We knew we wouldn't go to Russia on our own, our usual travel plan. This cruise was ideal, we saw two major Russian cities and a few little villages. We were on board for every night, so no daily packing challenges. AND the Viking folks really know how to spoil you for any other travel. The meals were delightful with new companions several days. The entertainment was special. Our cabin was always sparkling clean and neat. Excursions were well planned and organized so that 145+ people enjoyed each port and shore visit and didn't have the sense that there were "crowds" - not even once!

I can't say enough good about the crew and staffing. Our guides were well-informed and genuine. The crew was friendly and never overbearing. Yes, we would definitely love to do another cruise similar to this one. It was so relaxing and informative. Such a pleasure to travel with Viking.
