Opportunity to explore Portugal, with 4 days in Lisbon, the Duoro River cruise and 2 days in Santiago de Compestela.

The accommodations in Lisbon and Santiago de Compestela were definitely 5*. The Heming river cruise ship was up to Viking standards with an attentive crew. The staff were all Portugese who loved their country and spoke so warmly of all our stops.

The daily trips were superb and gave us a real understanding of the country, and how beautiful it is. We saw lots of vineyards and olive trees, but also lovely palaces and Pousadas. The guides were very knowledgeable.

Cabin Review

Veranda

Cabin A

Lovely cabin with balcony (which we used a lot given the wonderful scenery), well-appointed. Lots of room for storage. Typical design of long-ships for Viking. Twin-bedded.

Port Reviews

Lisbon

A great spot for a walk.

Pinhao

A great place to start with lovely views of Porto.

Porto (Leixoes)

Great overview and ample time to wander on our own.

Vega de Terron (Salamanca)

The cathedral was outstanding as well as the city tour.
