Cabin: Concierge Class 3

Never before having cruised on a "big" ship this was a new experience. Before there had only been 600 or so, and here was 3000! Would there be queues everywhere, was it going to be crowded, what about space in the public areas?

What an amazing experience to sail with Celebrity. The amount of space was incredible, and always, when needed, the opportunity of finding that quiet corner.

The Dining experience was outstanding, what amazing choices, almost too many, and without exception all to an exceedingly high standard.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 3

Cabin C3

More than adequate storage facilities, even for old folk like us who might be a little less agile than others. Comfortable and kept spotlessly clean. Fresh fruit replenished on an as need basis. Daily nibbles varied in menu style. The only criticism would be that the TV could not be swivelled to allow it to be watched, in comfort, from the bed. The Bathroom, and supplied toiletries were of an exceedingly high standard. The towels were changed in some instances twice in the same day!

Port Reviews

Taormina (Messina)

A great place to explore independently.

Mykonos

Like a lot of Greek Islands well worth the visit. Friendly locals. Not too difficult to negotiate with a wheelchair, just one or two areas of difficulty.

Kusadasi

Having visited previously it was a delight to explore more of the back streets, finding those little outlets off of the tourist trail. Extremely wheelchair friendly.

Rhodes

The old town is what really sets this place off. A greta place to explore, slightly difficult at times with the wheelchair but worth the effort.

Santorini

The prospect of going ashore, without the use of the wheelchair was too daunting. It looked like a place worth visiting if fit and able but probably not too much to go and see.

Athens (Piraeus)

Use the public transport to get around. Crowds everywhere so don't expect to always see what is going on. A Capital city, soaked in tourist hotspots, but lacking in amenities.

Naples

Very definitely not wheelchair friendly. Managed to wreck the wheelchair mid morning on the combination of cobbles, broken down footpaths/pavements/roads. Disgustingly dirty, not just with litter but with dog fouling as well. Take a trip out of town rather than stay in it.
