This was our first Cruise experience and the ship, Royal Caribbean, Liberty of the Sea was as we expected, beautiful. The service in our cabin was exceptional and We enjoyed the entertainment and activities on board.

HOWEVER The food in the Main dinning rooms was not enjoyable. Again the service was superior, but the food was anything but. It was either over cooked or under cooked and tasted disgusting. I'm not a picky eater however mushy lobster, raw steaks when asked to be cooked well done, and the Italian night was unsuitable for human consumption. The eggplant was grey and slimy under tons of cheese and the lasagna had a funny taste and smell. The salmon was cooked too long and the sauce they put on it was very nasty tasting. I could go on and on.

We have traveled to many of the Islands in the Caribbean and have enjoyed our excursion experiences, but the excursions from the cruise ship are extremely stressful. Especially if you tether and need a tether ticket and your late for the scheduled time, you are always checking the time.
