Cruised this ship three times before under the Nordic Empress name in 1992 and on. Then it was beautiful and new. Now it seems that the best renovation was to include a 32 inches plasma tv in the room. This cruise is the pits. The Cruise Director is the worst of all the 60+ cruises we have taken. He lacks enthusiasm and has a " Whatever" attitude.
Food at the Windjamer café on the 10th floor is almost the same everyday. Lacks flavor and variety. Ship's shows are not entertaining at all. Too many errors in their acts routines, etc.
The ship has a sewage smell in many common areas as well as some floor hallways.
Cabin Review
Cabin was very small and has peeling dry paint above head rest, Windows were not washed making difficult to see the ocean views.
Attendant was extremely attentive to our needs and very polite and friendly.
